A Tribute To My Mom
Mary and Leon Johnson started Monogram magic in 1992 a dream of my fathers was that my mom could make a living if something would had happen to my dad. Leon had been in bad health for awhile They tried to do Fairs and flea markets and that became to much for the both of them, Dad bought a embroidery machine for my mom, she started doing a few jobs in her spare bedroom and decided she needed to have a business customers could come to other than her home. So they rented a shop at 139 N main st and moved to 141 N .Main St In Manteca, Ca “The Family City” a year later.
Which we all called "The Little Yellow House"
By January 1998 business was doing really well so we needed to find a bigger place but did not want to leave this beautiful town. So we moved over to 135 W. Yosemite Ave. and have been here ever since. In 2006 I meet this wonderful gentleman named Dan Kaiser. In September 2008 my mom decided to retire from the business and Dan and I became partners.
